Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern - Lucerne

What an excellent stay we had! The proximity to Lake Lucerne was good, and spending evenings by the water while enjoying a glass of wine was the highlight of our trip. The staff was super attentive and genuinely friendly. My aunt was thrilled with the fine views from our terrace.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available.

I greatly enjoyed this beautiful and gorgeous hotel, it did not disappoint. Everything was excellent, so were nice views of the mountains and the lake. The room was extremely spacious and beautiful and come with a personal safe, iron and ironing board, and coffee/tea makers. The location was particularly good and incredible, just 5 min walk from Southover Grange Gardens.

The breakfast was above average and had plenty of options. Amazingly helpful staff was available all the time. The location itself was perfect, near Lewes Market Tower.

The location next to the lake is fine. The staff greeted me warmly, offering a smooth check-in process. I stayed in a Superior Lake View Room with Terrace. The room was spacious, with a amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains. It felt luxurious, with comfortable bedding and good amenities. The dining options were excellent. I particularly loved the breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious choices. Room service was efficient, and my requests were met quickly. I did notice a few issues. The wellness area was surprisingly noisy with people chatting on their phones, less relaxing than expected. The bottled water charges after the first four complimentary bottles seemed a bit excessive. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall vibe of the hotel and attentive staff were good. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for its family-friendly touches and excellent service.

Superb overall experience. Fairly clean and wonderful hotel, particularly good and stunning location to Luzerne train station. Excellent staff throughout. Location close to the boardwalk and walking distance to the city, Ireland & Switzerland and Lake Lucerne.

Excellent & comfortable room, a private safe, coffee and tea making facilities, and a writing table in there. Great service overall. Great, informative staff towards all guests.

The attention to detail was excellent. The superior lake view room featured fine views and luxury amenities. Dining options were really good, especially the Hungarian beef stew. Service was great throughout our visit 🌟

Actually it was the first time for me to be in Luzern,it's the best place for relaxation and enjoing the nice weather and the beautiful lake,the city is clean and breathtaking

The location of the hotel is the best among others in addition to that the saloon with it's marble flooring and classical design with the played music is very romance

The staff was attentive and always ensured my needs were met efficiently. The room was impeccably decorated and spacious, great for a productive work environment while relaxing at the same time. I particularly enjoyed the well-equipped business center, which greatly benefited my work commitments.

No free WiFi although business centre provided internet access we required. Usual very limited tv stations for English travellers.

The Superior Lake View Room was amazing, with an very nice view of Lake Lucerne and a spacious layout. The staff was attentive and were pretty good too ensure our comfort. The breakfast spread was good, with fresh and high-quality options that really set the tone for the day 🌟

There was occasional noise in the wellness area from cell phone conversations.

Beautiful location, rooms with a view over the lake are stunning, and no road running along the back means no passing traffic noise. We had a junior suite, which was more than large enough, room was very well furnished, beds excellent, bathrooms large and very well equipped. Could not fault the cleanliness of the whole hotel, and the staff were very polite and extremely professional. We would most certainly stay here again.
